Members of the Carolina Panthers staff traveled from Charlotte to Kitty Hawk on May 1 to help Better Beaches OBX plant sea oats along a one-mile stretch of dune.

As part of the Carolina Panthers’ 25th anniversary celebration, the National Football League franchise recognizing May 1 as Keep Pounding Day, an organizational day of community service.
The team conducted 25 service projects in communities across North and South Carolina.
