Dare County’s coronavirus case count climbs to 19

Dare County’s coronavirus case count climbed to 19 on Saturday. No details have been released about new case, which was posted on the county’s website Saturday afternoon.

Of Dare’s now 19 cases, 14 have recovered or have been asymptomatic and one has died.

In Currituck County, the case count had reached nine on Saturday, while Hyde County continued to hold at one case.

Statewide, there were 14,360 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases in 99 counties Saturday, with 544 deaths and 513 hospitalized. More than 186,000 tests have been performed.
