Live video: Will North Carolina move into Phase 3 on Friday? We expect to find out today

Governor Roy Cooper is expected to announce this afternoon the next steps in North Carolina’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The governor’s current “Safer At Home” executive order, also known as Phase 2, is scheduled to expire on Friday.

Cooper will be joined by other state officials to provide an update from the Emergency Operations Center in Raleigh at 3 p.m. today. You can watch the live stream below, courtesy UNC-TV:
