The Corolla Wild Horse Fund announced some baby news Wednesday.
“We have a new foal!” the fund said in a Facebook post. “We have been hoping we might get a few fall babies.”
The CWHF, which manages the herd of 100 or so wild horses on the Currituck Outer Banks, said they don’t yet know the new foal’s gender, and so haven’t picked a name yet.

“Right after these pics were taken the family went back into the woods. All seem to be in great shape!” the post said.
