The Ocracoke Express Tram route will now include the Historic Ocracoke Light Station as a drop-off and pickup location.

Visitors to the light station will now be able to access this historic location via the free tram system.

Light station visitors are encouraged to use the free tram service because parking at the site is limited. Tram pickup locations are located throughout the village and vehicle/cart parking is available at the Ocracoke Express Passenger Ferry pickup location on Silver Lake Harbor.

Park and ride to visit the Ocracoke Light Station, the oldest operating light station in North Carolina and the second oldest operating in the United States.
