It is with great sadness that the family of Joni Love Newman announce her sudden passing. Joni was a free spirit, always dancing to the beat of her own drum. She loved horses, collecting sea glass, and spending as much time at the beach as she could. A beloved mother, sister and friend, she left this world as a result of a car accident on October 6th, 2021 at age 60.
Joni was predeceased by her parents Ruth and Stanley Newman. She is survived by her four siblings, Julie Tolson (Bobby), Stan Newman (Missy), Tony Newman (Marlene) of Columbia, NC and Stevie Newman (Wendy) of Bellwood, PA. She is also survived by two children, Zach Fisher and Carli Cox. Her family will honor her legacy by living their own lives to the fullest.
A simple celebration of Joni’s life is scheduled for 2pm on Monday, October 11th, 2021. Her cremated remains will be interred at the south side of Jennette’s Pier and the family will be receiving condolences at the home of Julie Tolson following the ceremony.
