The National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City (NOAA) has announced that Tropical Storm Colin, which formed unexpectedly off the coast of South Carolina, has weakened into a tropical depression.

No reintensification is expected and all tropical storm warnings have been cancelled as of Saturday evening.
