With the recent rise in camping and glamping popularity, Cape Hatters/Outer Banks KOA Resort has added two Glamping Tents to complement the campground’s existing lodging options. Now open, the Australian-inspired eco-structures will sleep up to four people.
Cape Hatteras/Outer Banks KOA Resort features a variety of accommodation types from Vacation Suites to fully-appointed Deluxe Cabins.
The newly added Glamping Tents will offer hotel-inspired comforts while satisfying leisure travelers’ growing interest in glamping. Kampgrounds of America’s North American Camping Report found that 40% of new campers tried glamping in 2021.
“Glamping is a perfect way to experience the great outdoors for those looking for comfort or a unique experience,” said Edward Stevens, general manager of Cape Hatteras/Outer Banks KOA Resort. “Whether you’re new to camping or a seasoned pro our Glamping Tents offer a new way to vacation.”
Each canvas Glamping Tent will feature a queen size bed and bunk room to sleep up to four guests. Inside you’ll also find a bathroom, TV and comforts such as a mini-fridge and Keurig coffee maker. The outdoor experience includes a covered deck and KOA Patio with a private firepit and gas grill.
Cape Hatters/Outer Banks KOA Resort is located at 25099 NC Hwy 12 in Rodanthe.
